Happy Mail Day ^__^

I actually wanted to wait till the weekend to post again, but today I was very excited when I opened the mail box to find 5 postcards and a swap from swap-bot :D

These are the cards I received and swap I received today:

Isn't the Pokemon starter and the Dedenne card totally cute^__^?

They are from a private swap I sent the children's book illustration postcards to. ^_^

The New Year's card is from my postcard pal and the Doraemon card is

from a RR on postcrossing and the one next to it is from the official site from a

member from Netherlands. ^__^

And this was inside the swap envelope:

The Hajimaron is a card protector sleeve in which the ATC was in :D

It's the first card in the series "Dress up Pikachu!" Cosplaying Pickachu which I host on swap-bot.^^

There was actually also an origami samurai hat but I didn't notice it when I took the photo ^^'

Yesterday I also received the swap to the Ghibli ATC swap :D

Art by Kagaya ♥

Today I received two great cards from a RoundRobin from the postcrossing forum. Check them out:

The colors on the postcard are really outrageously stunning in my opinion :D

I went through my received card and found out that I haven't posted these ones:

I received them through RR or tags on the forum :D

I'm really happy about the card of Dr. Watson from the SHERLOCK series^__^

Martin Freeman is definitely one of my favorite actors^__^

And today I sent out 2 postcards for swap and for my postcard pal:

There's still some swaps I'm going to send out this week so stay tuned :D

Sent and Received ♥

Hello my dear readers ^__^ The last two weeks I was quite a bit sick so I wasn't really in the mood to edit photos of the received cards. But now I am getting better ^__^

So I'm gonna show some of the cards I received in the past :)

This is a swap I received from Swap-Bot. It was a Robot ATC swap :)

She used a pretty cool address stamp (around the bird - that's why I had to edit that out ;)  ^__^

Both cards were part of a RR swap on the postcrossing forum (from different members)

Aren't they cute? ^__^

And these are some swaps I sent out :D

The robot ATC I created for the swap on swap-bot :)

And this is for the ABCs of Ghibli - Letter "K" ATC swap.

Because of postage and lack of time I won't be participating for the other letter ATCs

(except a private swap I arranged with someone).

These are some postcards I have sent last week. The lali card with cows is for the Mew card I received and the other card by Helme Heine is for the same person I'm doing a private swap with :)

I'll be posting more stuff soon as I sort through my received mail.^__^

Outgoing and incoming Mail :)

Yesterday I received a lovely package from a swap on Swap-Bot.

I already knew the person from the postcrossing forum :)

We have a lot of the same interests besides anime :D

Thank you very much for this great swap Solstice! ^__^

And here are some postcards I mailed out today for private swaps and tags on the postcrossing forum^^

This ATC is the I mentioned some days ago. It is for a Swap on Swap-bot

(Ice-type Pokemon)

And since I finished preparing all the swaps currently active

I am happy I'm now hosting Dress up Pikachu!ATC #01 - Cosplaying Charizard !

If you like Pikachu and ATCs be sure to not miss this swap :D

Incoming January Mail :)

Happy New Year  :D

The year is already 2 weeks old~ Did you make any new year's resolution? I made the decision to declutter my room from unnecessary stuff and already gave away a lot of things or finally use things I just kept. In that rush I made some Xmas cards :P Obviously the stores are now putting Xmas stuff on sale so I bought some small 3D handmade stickers. But I don't want them to go unused (or lost until the next Xmas), so I just made two Xmas cards yesterday :P also because I guess I will be quite busy next Xmas with my bachelor thesis preparation. But I will be showing them in the next post ^^

Until them I'll show you some of the cards I received in the last two weeks:

The Hello Kitty New Years card I received from my japanese penpal but also

from the Japan & OC RoundRobin. Both the Pokemon and the Rilakkuma

card are from the Mini Round Robin themed Anime/Cartoon :D It was a very nice surprise

to receive Pokemon New year card on time. ^___^

I received the sleeping fox and the Hobbit fan art card from a RoundRobin and the

Balota card from the official Postcrossing site. The Balota card shows some

These are cards from Round Robins and one New Year Card from a postcard pal from Japan.

I'm a big fan of Heiji and Sherlock. Wait.. woah! Detective Conan's Heiji is on the same picture as Sherlock Holmes, isn't that great Conan :P? (Though I bet he'd be happier if it was him.. haha xD)

For those who don't know Detective Conan: He's a High School detective who turned into a kid and solves mysteries. And! He's a big big fan of Sherlock Holmes! What a great coincidence ^-^

I'll be quite busy until the end of February, because I need to prepare and

write two longer essays for classes ;__;

So I guess I will not be sending too many postcards until then, but I'm planning to host an ATC swap on

swap-bot with the following theme: Dress up Pikachu! ATC- Pikachu cosplaying Charizard

I actually hope to turn it into a series if it is popular enough ^^

It is inspired by the newly opened Pokemon center store in Ikebukuro. On the opening weekend they sold a limited edition Pikachu cosplaying Charizard ^__^ It's sooo cute! But because I don't live there I couldn't get anything with this theme so I thought about hosting this swap^^

I'll be praparing to host this swap when I finished preparing the swap I currently take part in (and also the presentation I'm going to hold at the end of next week >__<).

It will be my first time hosting a swap and hopefully a good time to relax

during a stressful time of writing ^__^

[Received] and [Sent]

Long time no see ^__^

Just wanted to wish you guys a great switch of years^^

These are the cards I received either November or December but had

not yet the chance to upload them^^

Two of them are from my postcard pal from Japan ^^

The others are from tags or Round Robins from the postcrossing forum.

I also received some great cards from SantaClaus :D

(I've written him a letter and received these cards with his reply ;) )

This is not a postcard but an ATC I received with a swap

on swap-bot :) I'll show the one I made when she received it^^

I received these cards and Pokemon stickers from sylphis :D

Two more cards are hidden on the back of the Snoopy and Hello Kitty card ^^

We send each other Thank you cards, so this is her reply^__^

This is an envelope with a letter I sent to a friend I get to know in Japan but now

moved back to her hometown^^

Have a great start into the New Year!

.: Mail Art :.

Just wanted to share this video about mail art with you guys:

I think it is a very cool and inspirational video!

I just love listening to people talking passionately about

things they enjoy doing :) I'm sure I've already watched it a dozen of times

while doing mail art or cleaning my room^^

It made me instantly do some mail art for friends I haven't met for a while.

I will be posting some of them before the year ends :D

Please visit the site making mail to send them feedback or connect with the artist's in the video^^
